Downs Energy work with managing agents and residents associations to secure the funding for whole block schemes of cavity wall insulation and loft insulation to any roof space. We manage the government grant due for the individual flat owners / tenants then will typically charge the maintenance fund the balance of the costs of the works so the individual flat owners aren’t paying directly for the insulation yet benefit from reduced energy bills straight away.

Schools and Commercial Buildings

With the wide variety of different buildings in use for education, spread across campuses there is very often the opportunity to undertake a review of existing insulation and put forward proposals which can achieve significant energy savings measures over a large site or even just within a stand alone commercial premises.
